Solar for Metro Manila homes with a high electricity bill

In October 2026 the Metro Manila residential electricity rate reached ₱15.06 per kWh, the highest since at least January 2025. Solar pays back fastest in the homes that feel it most.

What the rate means for your bill

₱15.06 per kWh is up about 13 percent on October 2025 and 28 percent since January 2025. For a household using 500 kWh a month, that works out to roughly ₱7,500 a month. For 800 kWh, it is over ₱12,000.

Solar pays back fastest in exactly these homes: detached houses with their own roof, several aircons, and people at home during the day. Power from your panels that you use as it is made replaces power you would otherwise buy at the full retail rate.

Grid-tied packages give you the most bill reduction per peso. Hybrid packages add a battery that keeps the circuits on your backup panel running when the grid drops.

What you get for the price

Your proposal itemises every component and every labour cost. Our professional installation fee is a per-watt rate on the system installed, and there are no surprise charges mid-job. You pay in three milestones:

  1. 01A ₱100,000 reservation when you sign, applied to your materials.
  2. 02The materials balance, paid to the supplier at cost before components ship, with no markup from us.
  3. 03Our professional fee, at commissioning and handover, once the system is running.

The installation team that builds your system is the team that signs the workmanship warranty. We do not sub-contract the crew.

Every install ships with a documentation pack: as-built diagrams, panel string layouts, labelled breakers, warranty registrations and a one-page operating guide. Every DC run is labelled and every lug is torque-checked.

Warranty, in plain numbers

Panels carry 25 years of performance warranty and 12 years of product warranty. Hybrid inverters carry 5 years, and batteries 8 years. Our own workmanship warranty runs 2–3 years, depending on the package.

Net-metering, stated plainly

In most of Metro Manila your distribution utility is Meralco. If you want to export surplus power under net-metering, we prepare the engineer-signed single-line and as-built drawings your distribution utility asks for and guide you through the application. You file it with the utility. Systems are sized for your own use first, because power you use yourself is worth more than the credit you get for exporting it.

Is your house a fit?

Solar works best on a detached or semi-detached house with a roof you own or control, and a monthly bill of about ₱5,000 or more. Condominium units usually cannot use a shared roof. If that is you, tell us anyway and we will say plainly whether it makes sense.

Send us two bills and a roof photo.

Send us your last two electricity bills and a photo of your roof. We size the system to your daytime use and your roof, then send you an itemised proposal.

Frequently asked

Three questions we often get.

Which package should I start with?
Match your average monthly bill to the package list above. Grid-tied packages cut the bill most per peso. If brownouts or work-from-home matter to you, choose the hybrid sibling of the same size. After a site visit we confirm the size against your actual roof and usage.
How do I pay?
In three milestones. A ₱100,000 reservation when you sign, applied to your materials. The materials balance, paid to the supplier at cost before components ship, with no markup from us. Then our professional fee at commissioning and handover, once the system is running.
Do you handle net-metering?
We prepare the engineer-signed single-line and as-built drawings your distribution utility requires and guide you through the application. You submit it to the utility.
